Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) has signed on to score the upcoming British family fantasy adventure Four Kids and It. The film is directed by Andy De Emmony (West Is West, Love Bite) and stars Matthew Goode, Russell Brand, Paula Patton, Ashley Aufderheide, Teddie Malleson-Allen, Billy Jenkins, Ellie-Mae Siame, as well as Michael Caine as the voice of It. The movie is based on Jacqueline Wilson’s children’s book of the same title and follows four kids who are horrified to learn that their beach vacation is in fact a bonding trip with their potential future step-siblings and accidentally stumble upon a magical creature who can grant them one wish a day. Simon Lewis (The Anamoly) wrote the screenplay. Julie Baines (Triangle, Detour) is producing the project for Dan Films, alongside Anne Brogan for Kindle Entertainment. As previously reported, Nikitin also has the Netflix original movie Lost Girls starring Amy Ryan coming up. She also recently scored the British drama Sulphur and White and the documentary Untouchable, which are both expected to be released in 2019.
