Blue Engine Records has announced a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Bolden. The album features original music from the film written, arranged and performed by Wynton Marsalis. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 19, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bolden is directed by Dan Pritzker and stars Gary Carr in the title role, alongside Erik LaRay Harvey, Yaya DaCosta, Ian McShane and Michael Rooker. The movie, which was scored by Mark Isham & Scott Steiner, tells the story of Buddy Bolden, a New Orleans cornet player who was a key figure in the development of ragtime music.
