Zentropa Music has released a soundtrack album for Hans Petter Moland’s Norwegian drama Out Stealing Horses (Ut Og Stjæle Hester). The album features the film’s original music composed by Kaspar Kaae who previously scored the director’s feature Kraftidioten. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Out Stealing Horses is written and directed by Moland (Cold Pursuit) and stars Stellan Skarsgård, Bjørn Floberg, Tobias Santelmann, Jon Ranes and Danica Curcic. The movie is based on the novel by Per Petterson and follows a grieving widower who moved to a remote house in the forest when he encounters a neighbor whom he met during a fateful summer in the past.The drama premiered last month at the Berlin Film Festival and is being released in Norwegian theaters this coming Friday, March 8. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
