Netflix has announced that Flying Lotus will be composing the music for the upcoming Netflix anime series Yasuke. The show is created by LeSean Thomas (The Boondocks, Cannon Busters) and centers on a retired ronin (voiced by Lakeith Stanfield) who must take up his sword when he is charged with the task of transporting a mysterious child who dark forces want to eliminate. Flying Lotus and Thomas are also executive producing the project for the anime studio MAPPA (Yuri On Ice, Kakegurui). No word yet on a release date for Yasuke.
