Mason Daring (Where the Heart Is, A Walk on the Moon, The Opposite of Sex, Lone Star, Music of the Heart) has recently composed the music for the upcoming documentary Moynihan. The film is directed by Joseph Dorman (Colliding Dreams, Arguing the World) & Toby Perl Freilich and centers on Daniel Patrick Moynihan (1927-2013), the seminal public intellectual and sociologist, policy specialist, ambassador and long serving New York senator. Jeffrey Wright is narrating the movie, which features interviews with Ta-Nehisi Coates, Eleanor Holmes Norton, George Will, Henry Kissinger, among others. Moynihan will be released in New York on October 3 and in Los Angeles on October 12 by First Run Features.
