Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Jean-Jacques Annaud’s 1988 classic drama The Bear (L’ours). The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the movie composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (Tess, The Tenant, Lord of the Flies, Ghost Story), including around 20 minutes of previously unreleased music. The composer recorded his score with the London Symphony Orchestra. Visit the label’s official website to listen to audio samples, check out the full track list and to order the limited edition CD.

The label has also announced a physical edition of Philippe Jakko‘s score for last year’s British thriller Kaufman’s Game. Click here for more information.
