Giona Ostinelli and Sonya Belousova have been tapped to score the upcoming heist thriller Lying and Stealing. The film is directed by Matt Aselton (Gigantic) and stars Theo James, Emily Ratajkowski, Fred Melamed, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Evan Handler and John Gatins. The movie centers on ayoung thief whose specialty is stealing high end art from the LA elite and an aspiring actress with a closet full of skeletons and a mountain of debt who decide to team up for one last, big daring heist. Aselton also co-wrote the screenplay with Adam Nagata and is producing the project with Michael Costigan (Ghost in the Shell, Stoker), Naomi Despres (Kill the Messenger) and Mohamed AlRafi (Above Suspicion). No release date has been announced yet for Lying and Stealing.

As previously reported, Ostinelli & Belousova (The Mist, M.F.A., Like Me) have also recently scored the action thriller Reprisal starring Bruce Willis & Frank Grillo (set to be released on August 31, 2018 by Lionsgate Premiere). The composers’ other upcoming feature projects also include the sci-fi thriller The Clinic directed by Darrell Wheat and starring Emily Bett Rickards, Meaghan Rath,Darby Stanchfield, Chris Mulkey, Isaiah Mustafa, Lulu Wilson and Richard Harmon. The movie tells the story of a woman who must piece together her past and find her missing daughter after waking up from a coma. Eric B. Fleischman & Sean Tabibian (Flower, Sleight) are producing the Diablo Entertainment production. A release later this year or in 2019 is expected.
