Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series Little Women written by Heidi Thomas based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, directed by Vanessa Caswill and starring Maya Hawke, Kathryn Newton, Annes Elwy, Willa Fitzgerald, Emily Watson, Dylan Baker, Angela Lansbury, Michael Gambon and Jonah Hauer-King. The 3-parter’s original score is composed by Stuart Earl (Lilting, My Brother the Devil, And Then There Were None). Premiering on Friday, May 18, is the Australian zombie thriller Cargo directed by Ben Howling & Yolanda Ramke and starring Martin Freeman, Anthony Hayes, Susie Porter, Caren Pistorius, Kris McQuade and Bruce R. Carter. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Rankine P.K.A. Trials, Dr. G Yunupingu, Michael Hohnen and Johnathon Mangarri Yunupingu. The movie, which follows a father who searches the wilds of Australia for someone willing to protect and care for his infant daughter, is premiering in the U.S. and most other markets exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Saturday, May 19, is the HBO original movie Fahrenheit 451 directed by Ramin Bahrani and starring Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Sofia Boutella and Lilly Singh. Matteo Zingales (The HunterSecrets & Lies) & Antony Partos (Animal KingdomThe Rover) have composed the film’s original music.
