Toydrum (aka Pablo Clements and James Griffith) have been tapped to score the upcoming sci-fi thriller Future World. The film is directed by James Franco (The Disaster Artist) & Bruce Cheung (Don’t Come Back from the Moon) and stars Milla Jovovich, Suki Waterhouse, Lucy Liu, Snoop Dogg and Method Man. The movie is based on original short story by Franco about a prince and a robot who travel across the violent and desolate Wastelands in a journey of self-discovery. Cheung and Jay Davis co-wrote the screenplay. Iervolino Bacardi and Monika Bacardi (o the Bone, Black Butterfly) are producing the AMBI Distribution production with Vince Jolivette (Palo Alto, In Dubious Battle) and Davis. Toydrum’s previous scoring credits include the features Prevenge, Detour and the thriller London Fields starring Billy Bob Thornton, Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess, Theo James, Jason Isaacs, Cara Delevingne & Johnny Depp. Future World is expected to premiere in 2018.
