Nima Fakhrara is currently scoring the upcoming drama I’m Not Here. The film is directed by Michelle Schumacher (3 Geezers!) and stars J.K. Simmons, Sebastian Stan, Maika Monroe, Mandy Moore, Max Greenfield, David Koechner, Harold Perrineau, Iain Armitage and Jeremy Maguire. The movie centers on a man who struggles with the tragic memories of his past and is striving for redemption.Schumacher also co-wrote the screenplay with Tony Cummings and is producing the project with Randle Schumacher and Eric Radzan for Rubber Tree Productions. I’m Not Here is expected to premiere later this year.
As previously reported, the composer also has the dystopian drama Desolate and Paul D. Hannah’s Busted coming up. Fakhrara (The Signal, The Pyramid, The Girl in the Photographs) is also composing the music for the crime comedy Danger One directed by Tom Oesch and starring Tom Everett Scott, James Jurdi, Angélica Celaya and Denis O’Hare. The movie follows two paramedics who find a million dollars in cash sewn into the clothing of a dying man being transported to a hospital and decide to keep it. The movie is currently in post-production.
