Andrew Hewitt has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller We Have Always Lived in the Castle. The film is directed by Stacie Passon (Concussion) and stars Alexandra Daddario, Taissa Farmiga, Sebastian Stan, Joanne Crawford and Crispin Glover. The movie is based on the horror novel of the same title by Shirley Jackson and follows an isolated family, which has already lost four members to poisoning, that uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople. Passon also co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Kroger. Michael Douglas, Jared Goldman (Adult Beginners, Wilson) and Robert Mitas (Beyond the Reach) are producing the project. We Have Always Lived in the Castle is expected to premiere later this year.
Hewitt (The Double, Submarine, The Stanford Prison Experiment) also has the comedic thriller A Crooked Somebody starring Ed Harris and the British comedy Old Boys coming up.
