Quartet Records has announced a soundtrack release for the documentary Spain in a Day. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Kite Runner, Volver, The Constant Gardener, The Skin I Live In). The soundtrack will be released on September 26, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Quartet’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples. Spain in a Day directed by Isabel Coixet (Learning to Drive, Elegy, The Secret Life of Words) is based on Ridley Scott’s Life in a Day and is collective project using social media that sees everyday Spaniards contribute short clips from their lives all shot on the same day, October 24, 2015. The documentary will premiere later this month at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
