Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the ITV mini-series Doctor Thorne. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Still Alice, Layer Cake, The Young Victoria, 47 Ronin). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 17, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Doctor Thorne is written by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, Gosford Park) and stars Tom Hollander, Ian McShane, Rebecca Front, Alison Brie, Richard McCabe, Phoebe Nicholls, Gwyneth Keyworth, Stefanie Martini, Kate O’Flynn, Edward Franklin and Harry Richardson. The 3-parter is based on the novel of the same name by Anthony Trollope and revolves around the penniless Mary Thorne, who grows up with her rich aunt and cousins at Greshamsbury Park estate. The series premiered in the UK this past March on ITV and in the U.S. last month on Amazon Prime.
