Toby Chu has signed on to score the upcoming period thriller The Wolves at the Door. The film is directed by John Leonetti (Annabelle, The Butterfly Effect 2) and stars Katie Cassidy, Miles Fisher, Elizabeth Henstridge and Adam Campbell. The movie is inspired by the horrifying Manson Family murders that shocked Los Angeles in 1969 and follows a group of friends who endure a terrifying home invasion. Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, Within) has written the screenplay. Peter Safran (The Conjuring, Buried, New in Town, Meet the Spartans) is producing the New Line Cinema production. The Wolves at the Door is expected to be released nationwide next year by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Chu whose previous scoring credits include TV shows such as Covert Affairs, Burn Notice and State of Affairs and features including Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return and Kelly & Cal has also taken over scoring duties on the upcoming thriller Indiscretion directed by John Stewart Muller and starring Mira Sorvino, Cary Elwes and Christopher Backus. The movie follows a psychiatrist who has an affair with a young sculptor who refuses to let go when she calls off the affair. No word yet on a release date for the film.
