Premiering on Friday, October 24, is the new NBC drama Constantine based on the DC Comics Hellblazer series, developed by Daniel Cerone& David S. Goyer and starring Matt Ryan, Harold Perrineau and Charles Halford. Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Battlestar Galactica, Da Vinci’s Demons) is composing the show’s original music. Constantine will air Friday nights on NBC.
Missing from last week’s roundup was the Lifetime original movie Big Driver directed by Mikael Salomon based on a story by Stephen King and starring Maria Bello, Will Harris, Joan Jett, Ann Dowd and Olympia Dukakis. The film’s original music is composed by Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Rome, Appaloosa). Big Driver follows a successful mystery novelist who is devastated after a brutal attack and bent on revenge.
