Premiering tonight on PBS is the documentary The Roosevelts: An Intimate Portrait directed by Ken Burns about the lives of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, three members of the most prominent and influential family in American politics. Premiering on Wednesday, September 18, is the new Fox dramedy Red Band Society created by Margaret Nagle, executive produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Octavia Spencer, Dave Annable, Griffin Gluck, Nolan Sotillo, Charlie Rowe and Brian Bradley. The show’s original music is composed by Ludwig Goransson (Community, New Girl, Fruitvale Station, 30 Minutes or Less). Also premiering on Wednesday night is the new NBC drama The Mysteries of Laura created by Jeff Rake and starring Debra Messing, Josh Lucas, Laz Alonso and Janina Gavanka. Joey Newman (The Middle, Privileged, Once and Again, Any Day Now) is composing the show’s original music.
