Miles of Lions Records has released a score album for Zach Braff’s indie dramedy Wish I Was Here. The soundtrack features the film’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (The Spectacular Now, (500) Days of Summer, The Way Way Back). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Also watch a video featuring Simonsen performing his theme from the score on the piano below. Columbia Records has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film. Wish I Was Here stars Zach Braff, Kate Hudson, Joey King, Jim Parsons, Ashley Green, Mandy Patinkin and Josh Gad. The Kickstarter-funded film written and directed by Braff follows a thirtysomething man who finds himself at major crossroads, which forces him to examine his life, his career, and his family. The comedy drama premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters this summer by Focus Features. For more information about the film, visit the official movie website.
