Bennett Salvay has signed on to score the upcoming FX comedy Partners. The show stars Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence as two Chicago lawyers from vastly different backgrounds who unexpectedly meet in court as they each face a personal crisis. Telma Hopkins, Rory O’Malley, McKaley Miller, Edi Patterson and Danièle Watts are co-starring. Bob Boyett and Robert Horn (Good Advice) serve as the series’ showrunners. They are also executive producing the Lionsgate Television production with Grammer, Lawrence, Brian Sher & Stella Bulochnikov (Boss), Michael Green and Sam Maydew. Salvay is best known for his music for the Jeepers Creepers movies, as well as such TV shows Friday Night Lights, Providence and Full House. Partners will premiere on August 4, 2014 and the first ten episodes will air every Monday night on FX. If the comedy meets a designated ratings thresholds, the network will order an additional 90 episodes.
