Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1991 comedy Delirious directed by Tom Mankiewicz and starring John Candy and Mariel Hemingway. The album features the complete original score from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) production composed and conducted by Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, He’s Just Not That Into You, One True Thing). The limited soundtrack edition is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips.
The label has also announced a remastered reissue of the soundtrack for the 1988 drama A Time of Destiny directed by Gregory Nava and starring William Hurt, Timothy Hutton, Melissa Theo, Stockard Channing and Francisco Rabal. The film’s music is composed, orchestrated and conducted by Ennio Morricone (The Mission, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in America). Finally, the label has also announced a physical release for the soundtrack for Christophe Gans’ Beauty and the Beast, which will also be released digitally as reported last month.
