reaching-for-the-moonLakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama Reaching for the Moon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Enough Said, Ray DonovanThe Good Shepherd). The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 14, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Reaching for the Moon directed by Bruno Barreto and starring Miranda Otto, Gloria Pires and Tracy Middendorf chronicles the mid-life years of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Elizabeth Bishop when she left America to live in Rio de Janeiro, where she where fell in love with architect Lota de Macedo Soares. The drama is now playing in select theaters and will be released on February 11, 2014 on DVD (click here to pre-order).
