Premiering on Friday, October 25 is the new drama Dracula created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie. Trevor Morris (The Borgias, Immortals, Olympus Has Fallen) is composing the show’s original score. Also premiering on Friday night is the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie The Hunters directed by Nisha Ganatra, based on a comic book by Joshua Williamson and starring Robbie Amell, Keenan Tracey, Dan Payne, Alexa Vega, Michelle Forbes and Victor Garber. The movie follows two brothers who find out that their parents are hunters who protect powerful fairy tale artifacts that are located in museums and other protected spots around the globe. Making its U.S. premiere on Friday is the Sky series Strike Back: Origins Richard Armitage, Andrew Lincoln, Amanda Mealing, Sullivan Stapleton, Philip Winchester, Jodhi May, Colin Salmon and Shelley Conn. The show, which is a prequel to Cinemax’s Strike Back follows a UK Special Forces soldier who discovers a connection between a current hostage situation and a mission he ran in Iraq in 2003. Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, The Young Victoria) and Scott Shields have composed the show’s score. Strike Back: Origins will air every Friday night on Cinemax.
