Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the soundtrack for Paramount Pictures’ 1991 Vietnam war-set action drama Flight of the Intruder directed by John Milius and starring Danny Glover, Willem Dafoe and Brad Johnson. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Basil Poledouris who also collaborated with the director on such films as Conan the Barbarian, Red Dawn and Farewell to the King. The album features the composer’s complete score, as well as two alternates and the world premiere of complete trailer music written by John Beal. The label has also announced the world premiere release of Universal Pictures’ 1972 western Joe Kidd directed by John Sturges and starring Clint Eastwood. The album features the complete score from the film composed and conducted by Lalo Schifrin (Mission: Impossible, Bullitt).
