Varese Sarabande has announced the newest titles in the label’s CD Club series. Among the latest releases is a deluxe edition for the 1991 action thriller sequel Die Hard 2 – Die Harder directed by Renny Harlin and starring Bruce Willis, Dennis Franz, John Amos and Bonnie Bedelia. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Lethal Weapon) who has scored the first three part in the Die Hard series. The 2-CD set includes the composer’s score from the film, as well as several alternates and the end credits piece Finlandia composed by Jean Sibelius. The label has also announced a deluxe edition for Wolfgang Petersen’s 1985 sci-fi adventure film Enemy Mine starring Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett, Jr.. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer Maurice Jarre (Lawrence of Arabia). The label’s other new titles include a reissue of the score album for the 1986 drama The Boy Who Could Fly written and directed by Nick Castle and starring Lucy Deakins, Jay Underwood, Fred Savage (TV’s The Wonder Years) and Bonnie Bedelia, Jason Priestley, Colleen Dewhurst, Fred Gwynne and Louise Fletcher.
