Reinhold Heil and Johnny Klimek are currently scoring the action monster movie I, Frankenstein. The film is directed by Stuart Beattie and stars Aaron Eckhart as Frankenstein’s monster Adam, who has survived to present day due to a genetic quirk in his creation and is being pursued by demons wanting to gain the secret of his reanimated corpse. Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy and Miranda Otto are co-starring in the movie, which is based on the comic by Kevin Grevioux. Tom Rosenberg & Gary Lucchesi (Million Dollar Baby, Underworld), Andrew Mason (Dark City) and Richard Wright (Underworld, The Lincoln Lawyer) are producing the Lakeshore Entertainment and Hopscotch Features production. Klimek and Heil have previously collaborated with Beattie on his first directorial feature Tomorrow, When The World Began. I, Frankenstein is currently set to be released on February 22, 2013 by Lionsgate.
As previously reported, Heil and Klimek have also scored the sci-fi film Cloud Atlas with director Tom Tykwer. The first trailer for the movie directed by Andy & Lana Wachowski and Tykwer and starring Tom Hanks, Jim Sturgess, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Keith David, Ben Whishaw and Jim Broadbent recently premiered online and can be watched below.
