The details of the soundtrack album for John Hillcoat’s gangster movie Lawless have been revealed. The album features selections from the film’s original score composed by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis who formed the band The Bootleggers for the project and are collaborating with such artists as Mark Lenegan, Ralph Stanley and Emmylou Harris. Also featured is a previously unreleased song by Willie Nelson. The soundtrack will be released on August 28, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from all tracks on the album below. Lawless based on the novel The Wettest County in the World by Matt Bondurant stars Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska.
