WaterTower Music will be releasing the official soundtrack album for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated comic book adaptation The Dark Knight Rises. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer. The soundtrack album will be released on July 17, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full soundtrack details are expected to be revealed next month. The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Tom Hardy as Bane, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius Fox.
