‘Shame’ Soundtrack Details

Sony Music will be releasing a soundtrack album for the drama Shame. The album features selections from the original score from the film by composer Harry Escott, as well as classic Bach performances from pianist Glenn Gould. Also included on the release are several songs from the movie by artists including Blondie, Howlin’ Wolf, as well as Carey Mulligan’s performance of New York, New York featured in the film. The soundtrack will be released on December 6, 2011 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Shame is directed by Steve McQueen and stars Michael Fassbender, Carey Mulligan, James Badge Dale, Nicole Beharie and Hannah Ware. The film, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is being considered a strong contender during this year’s award season, especially for Fassbender’s lead performance has been picked up by Fox Searchlight for a domestic release on December 2, 2011.     Hi, there is a song that I can’t find on the soundtrack. It’s a kinda electronic song that is played towards the end of the film, when he is walking to a bar (a long queue to get in) and then he’s refused entry.
    Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Which piece is the one playing at the end of the movie when his sister calls him and tells him “we’re not bad people, we just come from a bad place”.. when he’s doing it with the 2 girls.

      I might have just happened upon the piece of music, that threads throughout the whole filme – plays in the extreme sex scenes at the end. The Spheres (Kyrie) – from Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass. Opening piece. If it’s not this, it is very similar…
