Music.Film Recordings & Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Those About to Die. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Andrea Farri (Io Capitano, Security, The First King, The Hanging Sun, Italian Race, Latin Lover). Also included is the historical drama’s opening title theme (in two different versions) composed by French singer/songwriter Woodkid. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Mannix’s nonfiction book of the same name and stars Anthony Hopkins, Iwan Rheon, Jojo Macari, Sara Martins, Tom Hughes, Gabriella Pession, Rupert Penry-Jones, Dimitri Leonidas, Moe Hashim, Emilio Sakraya, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Pepe Barroso, David Wurawa, Gonçalo Almeida, Eneko Sagardoy and Romana Maggiora Vergano. The 10-parter directed by Roland Emmerich & Marco Kreuzpaintner is set in the corrupt world of gladiatorial competition and follows a group of characters from different corners of the Roman Empire who collide at the explosive intersection of politics, sports, and dynasties. The series is premiering in the U.S. today on Peacock and internationally tomorrow on Prime Video.
