Sean Segal has made his feature scoring debut on the upcoming action comedy sequel My Spy The Eternal City. The film is directed by Pete Segal (Get Smart, 50 First Dates) and stars Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal, Flula Borg, Billy Barratt, Craig Robinson, Taeho K, Anna Faris and Ken Jeong. The movie follows veteran CIA operative JJ and his 14-year-old stepdaughter Sophie as they reunite to save the world when a high school choir tour of Italy is interrupted by a nefarious nuclear plot targeting the Vatican. The director also co-wrote the screenplay with Erich Hoeber & Jon Hoeber (The Meg, RED) and is producing the project with Bautista, Chris Bender (A History of Violence, We’re the Millers), Jake Weiner (Mulan, Under the Silver Lake), Robert Simonds (The Pink Panther, Cheaper by the Dozen), Gigi Pritzker (Drive, Motherless Brooklyn) and Jonathan Meisner (Final Score, Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy). Sean Segal (who is the director’s son) has previously scored numerous shorts. Dominic Lewis has composed the score for the original 2020 original My Spy movie. My Spy The Eternal City will premiere on July 18, 2024 exclusively on Prime Video.
