Owen Pallett (Her, Dream Scenario, The Box, Life, Alice/Darling, On the Count of Three, Spaceship Earth) has composed the original music for thew new Canadian drama Longing. The film is written and directed by Savi Gabizon (Nina’s Tragedies) and stars Richard Gere, Suzanne Clément and Diane Kruger. The movie is a remake of Gabizon’s 2017 Israeli feature Ga’agua and follows a bachelor who is forced to evaluate his life choices when he discovers that an ex-girlfriend had given birth to his son twenty years ago. Daniel Bekerman (The Witch, Rememory) is producing the project with Alexander Vinnitski and Neil Mathieson. Longing will be released in select theaters on June 7, 2024 by Lionsgate before coming out on VOD on June 28.
