Intrada Records has announced a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller The Piper. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Sinister, Spider-Man 3, The Hurricane, Drag Me to Hell, Ghost Rider, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Shipping News) and performed by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 16 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). A CD version will be available to order on the label’s official website later today. The Piper is written and directed by Erlingur Thoroddsen and stars Charlotte Hope, Julian Sands, Aoibhe O’Flanagan and Oliver Savell. The movie follows a composer who must finish her late mentor’s concerto, when she discovers that playing its music summons deadly consequences. The Millennium Media production premiered at last year’s Screamfest and was released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD in March by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
