Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Sound of Freedom. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Javier Navarrete (Pan’s Labyrinth, Wrath of the Titans, Antlers, The Devil’s Backbone, Byzantium, Greta, Inkheart). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 22. Available separately as a digital single is Justin Jesso’s title song from the movie. Sound of Freedom is co-written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde and stars Jim Caviezel, Bill Camp, Mira Sorvino, José Zúñiga, Kurt Fuller, Javier Godino and Eduardo Verástegui. The movie is based on the true story of Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard’s effort to rescue kidnapped children in Columbia. The thriller was released in theaters nationwide last summer by Angel Studios and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
