Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, Nocturnal Animals, The Nun, Till, W.E., The Courier, Emily, Romeo and Juliet) has been hired to score the upcoming supernatural horror thriller The Watchers. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan (who also wrote the screenplay) and stars Dakota Fanning and Georgina Campbell. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by A.M. Shine and follows a 28-year old artist who gets stranded in an untouched forest in western Ireland, where she finds shelter and becomes trapped alongside three strangers that are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. Blinding Edge Pictures’ M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) & Ashwin Rajan (Servant, Glass) are producing the New Line Cinema production with Nimitt Mankad (Trumbo, Danny Collins). The Watchers is currently set to be released in theaters nationwide on June 7, 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
