Manners McDade has released a soundtrack album for the BBC documentary series Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nick Foster (Thunderbirds Are Go, Greatest DaysMisha and the Wolves, The A List, In My SkinYear of the Rabbit). Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius narrated by Juliet Stevenson tells the story of how a glover’s son from rural Stratford became the greatest writer who ever lived and follows the triumphs and setbacks of William Shakespeare’s writing life, revealing how the people he met and the world he witnessed found their way into his work. The 3-parter produced by 72 Films and premiered in the UK over the last few weeks on BBC Two.
