Aisling Brouwer (White Riot, Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story) & Anna Phoebe (Savage Waters) (aka AVAWAVES) are the composers of the upcoming British Apple TV+ original series The Buccaneers. The show is created by Katherine Jakeways and stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Christina Hendricks, Imogen Waterhouse, Aubri Ibrag, Mia Threapleton, Guy Remmers, Josh Dylan, Matthew Broome and Barney Fishwick. The 8-part drama is inspired by Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel of the same title and follows a group of fun-loving young American girls who explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Jakeways is also executive producing The Forge Entertainment production with Beth Willis (Doctor Who, Marriage), as well as Susanna White (Nanny McPhee Returns, Our Kind of Traitor) who also directed multiple episodes. The Buccaneers will premiere on November 8, 2023 exclusively on Apple TV+.
