Tips Industries has released a new soundtrack album for the Indian historical epic Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Blinded by the Light, The Hundred-Foot Journey,Million Dollar Arm, Viceroy’s House). A separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie was released last September. Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1 is co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam and stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Trisha. The drama was released last fall and the second part opened in theaters earlier this year.
