Kathryn Kluge & Kim Allen Kluge (Silence, Small Engine Repair, The Milky Way, Grace and Grit) have been tapped to score the upcoming biographical drama The Yellow Tie. The film is directed by Serge Ioan Celebidachi and stars John Malkovich, Ben Schnetzer, Sean Bean, Miranda Richardson, Kate Phillips, Anton Lesser and Charlie Rowe. The movie tells the story of controversial Romanian classical conductor/composer Sergiu Celibidache who battled homelessness and prejudice before becoming the youngest ever conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Celebidachi also co-wrote the screenplay with James Olivier (Octav) who is producing the project with Adela Vrinceanu Celebidachi, Cristina Dobritoiu, Andrei Boncea and Christopher Milburn (An American Haunting, Getaway). The Yellow Tie is set to start principal photography later this month in Bucharest, Romania. (Variety)
