Walt Disney Records has released a digital single for the new theme park attraction TRON Lightcycle / Run. The 2-track single features the ride’s music based on Daft Punk’s TRON: Legacy score, produced and arranged by Joseph Trapanese (The Greatest Showman, Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Witcher) who collaborated with the electronic music duo on their music from the 2010 feature and also composed the score for the animated series TRON: Uprising. TRON Lightcycle / Run is inspired by the TRON feature films and takes place after the events of the film’s 2010 sequel, where Sam Flynn has opened a second gateway to the Grid, a digital realm. The ride just opened this week at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
