Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the action comedy Mafia Mamma. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, Touching the Void, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Roots, State of Play). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists such as Marcus Anderson, Maria Mendez, Rob Wilson, Miranda Martino & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track from Heffes’ score (This Means War) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Mafia Mamma is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and stars Toni Collette, Monica Bellucci and Sophia Nomvete. The movie centers on a suburban American woman who inherits her grandfather’s Mafia empire and takes over as the new head of the family business. The comedy will be released in theaters nationwide on April 14 by Bleecker Street.
