Composer and cellist Peter Gregson (A Little Chaos, BlackbirdAdolescence) has made his television scoring debut on new Netflix documentary series Waco: American Apocalypse. The show is directed by Tiller Russell (Night Stalker, The Last Narc, Silk Road) and centers on the infamous 51-standoff in Waco, Texas in 1993 when cult leader David Koresh faced off against the federal government. The 3-parter, which is being released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the tragedy, features exclusive access to recently unearthed videotapes filmed inside the FBI’s Hostage Negotiation Command Post, as well as raw news footage never released to the American public, and FBI wiretap recordings. Russell is also executive producing the project with Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett, Dane Reiley, Edwin Zane, William Green (Ali G Indahouse), Aaron L. Ginsburg Open Grave) and Greg Tillman. Waco: American Apocalypse is premiering today on Netflix.
