Paramount Music has released a digital version of the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1951 drama A Place in the Sun directed by George Stevens and starring Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor and Shelley Winters. The album features the original music from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Franz Waxman (Sunset Boulevard, Rebecca, Rear Window, Bride of Frankenstein, Peyton Place) who received his second Academy Award for his work on the movie. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The soundtrack album was originally released as a limited edition CD back in 2013 by Kritzerland. A Place in the Sun is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
