Because Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama For My Country (Pour la France). The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Levy (I Lost My Body, Empire of the Wolves, Vesper). Also included are two songs by NightLab and a track by Identified Patient. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. For My Country is co-written and directed by Rachid Hami and stars Karim Leklou, Shaïn Boumedine, Lubna Azabal, Laurent Lafitte, Samir Guesmi and Vivan Sung. The movie centers on an Algerian officer who tragically loses his life during an initiation ritual at a prestigious French military academy. Appalled by the obvious discrimination, his older brother brings the family together to reclaim justice. The drama premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today.
