Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross are reteaming with director David Fincher on the upcoming Netflix original film The Killer. The movie is based on the graphic novel series by Alexis Nolent (a.k.a Matz) and illustrated by Luc Jacamon and stars Michael Fassbender, Charles Parnell, Sophie Charlotte, Arliss Howard and Tilda Swinton. The thriller follows an assassin after a fateful near-miss as he battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal. Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, 8MM) wrote the screenplay. Ceán Chaffin (Fight Club, Zodiac) is producing the project. Reznor & Ross have previously scored Fincher’s last four features, The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl and Mank. Reznor’s & Ross’ involvement was confirmed on Nine Inch Nail’s official website. The Killer will premiere on November 10, 2023 on Netflix.
As previously reported, Reznor & Ross also have Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers (set to be released on August 11) coming up.
