Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Preacher, The Disaster Artist) is the composer of the new Fox drama Alert: Missing Persons Unit. The show is created by John Eisendrath & Jamie Foxx and stars Scott Caan, Dania Ramirez, Ryan Broussard, Adeola Role and Graham Verchere. Porter & Eisendrath also co-wrote the theme for the series, which follows a police officer who joins Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit (MPU) to help other people find their loved ones, while she searches for her own. Eisendrath & Foxx are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment production with Datari Turner (Nine Days, It’s a Disaster), J.R. Orci, Adam Kane (American Gods, Prodigal Son) and Michael Offer (The Cleaning Lady). Porter has previously scored the Eisendrath-produced NBC drama The Blacklist (and its spinoff The Blacklist: Redemption), which will return for its tenth season on February 26. Alert: Missing Persons Unit is premiering tonight on Fox before moving to its regular Monday night timeslot tomorrow.

Porter also continues to score Starz’s Hightown, which has been renewed for a third season.
