Ilan Eshkeri (StardustThe Young Victoria, Layer Cake, Still Alice, A Perfect Place, Kick-Ass) has recently been scoring the new BBC drama SAS Rogue Heroes. The show is developed by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises, Locke) based on Ben Macintyre’s best-selling novel of the same title and stars Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Allen, Sofia Boutella and Dominic West. The 6-part drama chronicles how the world’s greatest Special Forces unit, the SAS, was formed under extraordinary circumstances in the darkest days of World War II. Knight & MacIntyre are also executive producing the project with Karen Wilson (Utopia,The Tunnel), Emma Kingsman-Lloyd (Grantchester, Deadwater Fell), Martin Haines, Tommy Bulfin (Normal People, The Tourist), as well as Tom Shankland (The Serpent, The City and the City) who also directed all episodes. SAS Rogue Heroes will premiere in the UK this coming Sunday, October 30 on BBC One and will make its U.S. debut (under the title Rogue Heroes) on November 13 on Epix.

Eshkeri also has the Sky original docuseries Kingdom of Dreams created and executive produced by Ian Bonhôte & Peter Ettedgui coming up. The 4-parter produced by Fremantle and Misfits Entertainment production tells the story of high fashion from the early 1990s to the 2010s and is expected to premiere later this year.
