Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ short Far From the Tree. The digital single features the film’s original score composed by Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds & Prodigy, An American Pickle, Absentia, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the full score below. Far From the Tree is written and directed by Natalie Nourigat and revolves around a young raccoon whose frustrated parent attempts to keep them both safe. The short was released in theaters last fall in front of Disney’s Encanto and is now available to stream on Disney+.
