Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, World War Z) & Brandon Roberts (TURN: Washington’s Spies, The Woman in Black 2, Unbroken: Path to Redemption) are co-scoring the upcoming CBS All Access anthology series The Twilight Zone. The show based on the 1959 classic TV series of the same title created by Rod Sterling is hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele. Among the actors appearing in the show’s first season are Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, Percy Hynes-White, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun. Peele (Get Out) is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Martian), Win Rosenfeld (Lorena), Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes (Manhunt: Unabomber). Beltrami has previously scored the Kinberg-produced features Logan and Fantastic Four. The original Twilight Zone series featured episodes scored by composers such as Bernard Herrmann, Jerry Goldsmith (who also scored The Twilight Zone: The Movie), Franz Waxman, among others. The Twilight Zone reboot will premiere on April 1, 2019 on CBS All Access.
Beltrami & Roberts have also recently co-scored the Kristen Stewart-starring thriller Underwater, which is expected to be released later this year.
