‘Wild Rose’ Soundtrack Details

Universal-Island Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy drama Wild Rose. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Jessie Buckley who stars in the title role of Rose-Lynn Harlan. The soundtrack will be released on April 12, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Country Girl) is now already available to download here. Wild Rose is directed by Tom Harper and stars Buckley, alongside Sophie Okonedo and Julie Walters. The movie follows a convicted criminal, single mother and would-be country singer who dreams of leaving her dreary, workaday Glasgow life for the bright lights of Nashville.The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in the UK on April 12 and in select U.S. theaters on May 10 by Neon.
