Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Miss Bala. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, 11.21.63, Roots, State of Play, Touching the Void, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom). The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, January 25 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A CD version will be available to order here. Miss Bala is directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Lords of Dogtown, Thirteen) and stars Gina Rodriguez, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Anthony Mackie. The movie follows a woman who finds a power she never knew she had when she is drawn into a dangerous world of cross-border crime.
