Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Imposter, Calibre, Mrs. Wilson, This Beautiful Fantastic) has composed the music for the upcoming British drama Sulphur and White. The film is directed by Julian Jarrold (Becoming Jane, Kinky Boots, Brideshead Revisited) and stars Mark Stanley, Emily Beecham, Anna Friel and Dougray Scott. Mike Elliott (Jawbone) and Alan Govinden are producing the project. Nikitin recorded her score with the London Contemporary Orchestra. Sulphur and White will premiere later this year.
Nikitin has also recently scored the documentary Untouchable directed by Ursula Macfarlane. Simon Chinn (Man on Wire, Searching for Sugar Man), Jonathan Chinn (Whitney, LA 92) and Poppy Dixon are producing the film, which will premiere later this week at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
